She lived most of her life in Hickory, NC, with her husband of 67 years, Glenn Walls. They were long-time members of the First Church of God of Hickory, where Edith taught Sunday school for many years. She spent the last nine years living in Aiken with her son, Emmett, and his wife, Jeanne. Edith was blessed with a long, full life, remaining active and alert until almost the very end. She was a woman of devout faith who spent her life’s energy serving the Lord and her family.
