Hugh Greasley was born in Leicestershire, England.

Hugh was born in about 1726, the son of Peter Greasley and his wife Katherine. He was baptised at Nether Broughton, Leicestershire on 4 May 1726. ^[1]

Hugh married Sybil Webster on 11 Sep 1750, Their marriage took place at Belgrave, Leicestershire, England. ^[2]

He died in Jan 1808 and was buried at Houghton on the Hill, Leicestershire on 5 Jan 1808. ^[3]
