Biography
George was born in 1829 and was christened on 16 May 1830 at Parish Church of Patrixbourne, Patrixbourne, Kent, England.[1]
In the 1861 Census, George (age 32), his wife Sarah Ann (age 26), and their three children, Elizabeth (4), George (3), and newborn Alfred. They were living in Sholden, in Kent, England and George is an Agricultural Labourer [2]
In the 1871 Census, George (age 42), his wife Sarah Ann (age 35) and their four sons, George David (age 13), Alfred William (age 10), John Coleman (age 8) and James Henry (age 5) were living in Sholden, in Kent, England. [3]
George's occupation was listed as "farm labourer".
By 1881, the couple had added two more children, Emma (9), and Albert (2) [4]
By 1991, George (63) and Sarah (57) were living with their children James (25), Emma (20), Albert (12), daughter-in-law Agnes K (21) and newborn granddaughter Florence E.
George passed away later that year and was buried on 8 Aug 1891. [5]
