Biography
He was the son of Conway Grimshaw.
In 1901 the Grimshaw family were living in Landdowne Crescent in Portrush. Nicholas William was the head of the family, aged 71, born Antrim, a Justice of the Peace, with his wife Eleanor Thomson, 60 born Antrim, and 3 children , Emma 34, Nichola Emmy’s 29, and Adrian Ramsey Newson 25 an apprentice engineer. [1]
Nicolas William died in 1907 in Skeenblan, Coleraine, he was a widower. He was a retired Linen Manufacturer, and died from Brights Disease. His son Osbourne registered the death. [2]
