Giuseppe Grizzaffi is born and baptized 20 September 1786 in Corleone. He is the son of Salvatore Grizaffi and Mattea Streva. His godparents are Maestro Mariano and Marianna Colletto, a married couple.[1]
Giuseppe appears as "Josepha" in the 1811 stato delle anime, age 23 (b. 1788), living with his mother and two sisters on the road that leads from the strada di Oliva to Michele (strada che dirizze al Michele).[2]
Giuseppe dies, reportedly at age 45 (he is 57) on 10 February 1844. The record of his death calls him Giuseppe Streva, the unmarried son of the late Salvatore Streva and Mattea Grizzaffi, reversing his parents' last names.[3]
