Biography

Giuseppa was born about 1786 ^[1], daughter of Maestro Gaspare Gugliotta and Liboria Mendolia ^[2]. She married Pellegrino Formica in 1805 ^[3] and they had several surviving children. She was widowed by Pellegrino, date unknown.

She married Gaetano Russo ^[4] and had at least one child who was born in Montevago. The family moved to Santa Margherita di Belice between 1818 and 1845 ^[5]. Giuseppa was widowed between 16 November 1845 and 25 June 1848 ^[6].

Giuseppa died in 1866 at about age 80 ^[7].
