Note N84Syver Gulbrandsen was born 10 February, 1872. He and Anna Ovidia lived in a little brown house on a homestead named Brørby. Began working at age 9 in the glassworks in Haldeland. They later moved to Kristiania-- Oslo and Syver later became a paintmaster, or a worker with paints. 1

He was religious and attended Høybråten Kirke. 1
