Janet Gunn of "Brail" (or "Onalkirk") in the parish of Bower, Caithness, married Andrew Sutherland, of Clayock ("Cleag") in the parish of Halkirk, Caithness, on 19 December 1801. The marriage was recorded in the parish registers of both Halkirk and Bower.[1][2]
Donald Sutherland, son of Andrew Sutherland and Janet Gunn, was born about 1815 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 31 March 1815.[3]
