Caroline "Carrie" Maud Gunton was born in Michigan 4 April 1854, the daughter of James Kemp Gunton (1830-1902) and Henrietta (Baxter) Gunton (1834-1916).^[1][2][3]

Carrie married Birney James Morgan 27 April 1874 in Traverse City.^{[4][5][6][7][8]}

Carrie passed away in 1951, age 97.^[9][10]
