Captain Bogardus (from Poughkeepsie, Dutchess county, New York) married Ellen Mary Haile, daughter of John James and Harriet (Willard) Haile, of Plattsburg. She was bom at Plattsburg, New York, March 19, 1849, and died at Greenwich, Connecticut, in January, 1903. [1]
