Biography
Nellie was born in 1882, the daughter of William Hall (1845-1918) and Mary Ann Hawthorne (1854-1934). [1]
In 1904 she married William Ernest Jeffery (1881-1930). [2]
They had 10 children:—

- Ernest Bartram (1904-1980)
- Stella Eileen (1908-1993)
- WilliamDixon (1911-1941)
- Dorothy Elmore (1913-1996)
- Johnson Murray (1915-1970)
- Marjory Kinsman (1917-1998)
- Thelma Willaton (1919-1992)
- Leonard (1922-1966)
- Cecil Hawthorne(1924-1999).
William died in 1930, in New South Wales.
Nellie passed away in 1949, aged 66. [3] F= Wm. Hall, M=Annie unknown.
Following a service on 5th September 1949, she was buried in Fawkner Memorial Park Cemetery, in Rose Garden No.2 Companion Roses, Garden Bed I, Position 22. [4]
