Henry Hamburg migrated from Volga Russia to America.
Heinrich was born 3 March 1867 in Walter, Russia. He was the son of Johann Heinrich Hamburg and Maria Katharina Kömpel. They moved to the Brunnental colony before 1871.[1]
He married Maria Katherine Kinsvater 4 February 1886 in Russia. She passed away 11 September 1936 at her home in Gering, Nebraska.[2]
He arrived in America with his wife and five children, crossing the border near Winnipeg, Canada April 1903 aboard the Canadian Pacific Railroad.[3]. The family had arrived 12 March 1903 at St. John, Canada aboard the S.S. Lake Ontario after departing from Liverpool, England.[4]
He passed away 31 December 1952 in Stockton, California.[5][6]
