He married MattieLee Francesteresa Hargis on the 31st of July, 1944 in El Paso, Colorado[3]

In June of 1942 he would confirm he was 5' 9 and 140 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He had scars on his elbow of his right arm, on the right foot and first finger of his left hand. At the time he was working for Western Cartride co in East Alton, and living at 1221 Rodemyer in Alton, Madison, Illinois[2]
He died on the 12th of January, 2004[1] in Alton, Maidson County, Illinois and he would be buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Alton, Madison County, Illinois[6]
He would inlist in the military on the 17th of November, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois[7]
