Biography
Jane, daughter of John Hampton & Christina Cunningham, was born or baptised on 24 February 1846 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[1]
In the 1851 census Joan (age 5), Scholar (at home), was the daughter of John Hampton at 2, Newfield Lane, Govan, Tradeston, Renfrewshire, Scotland.[2]
In the 1861 census Jane (age 15), Domestic serv, was the unmarried daughter of John Hampton on Cumberland Lane, Govan, Tradeston, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[3]
In the 1871 census Jean (age 25), (as servant), was the unmarried daughter of John Hampton at 46, Surrey Lane, Govan, Hutchesontown, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[4]
She married 14 Jul 1871 to Robert Nisbet [5]
In the 1881 census Jane (age 35) was the wife of Robert Nisbet at 48, South Coburg Street, Govan, Gorbals, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[6]
In the 1891 census Jane (age 45) was the wife of Robert Nisbet at 3, South Coburgh Street, Govan, Gorbals, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[7]
