Biography

Thomas was born about 1851 in Tysoe, Warwickshire. He is the son of Jarvis Hancox and Ann Dormer.

He married Mary Ann Markham in Quainton, Buckinghamshire, but they raised a family back in Warwickshire, where Thomas worked as an agricultural labourer.

They were both still living in Oxhill in 1921.

Research Notes

The father of Thomas Henry was Jarvis, according to the marriage record, not Jeffrey.

And it is Jarvis on the 1861 and 1871 census.
