Martha Ann Hankinson was born in late 1861/early 1862 [1] in Warrington, Lancashire, England, the daughter of Thomas Hankinson and Ann Dobson.
In 1881 a Cotton Weaver, she was living at 188 Winwick Street, Warrington with her parents and 3 siblings. [2]
She married John Monks on 25 December 1883 in St. Mary's Chapel, Great Sankey, Lancashire.[3]
Her husband died in 1893.
She remarried; to Benjamin Taylor on 28 February 1897 in Latchford, Cheshire.[4][5]
In 1901 she was with her husband and 3 children in Warrington. [6]
