Rose was born in 1874. She was the daughter of John Hanlon and Eliza Bannon.[1] Her birth was registered by Elizabeth Hanlon (Sister) in the district of Coatbridge, in the County of Larnark, Scotland. Father's occupation was a Furnace Keeper.
Rose Hanlon married Thomas Toner in 1901. Their marriage was registered in Coatbridge or Old Monkland.[2]
She emigrated to New Zealand in 1913 with her children Thomas, Assuma, Sarah and James on board the ship "Remuera' in 1913. [3]
In loving memory of Rose, loved wife of T. Tonner died 29th October 1951 aged 76. R.I.P.
