Arne Hansen Vasbakke was baptized on 18 Sep 1765 in Volda, Norway.[1]
In the 1801 census he was 36 years old and lived at Drabløs Yttre in Volda. His occupation was "Skoleholder" (schoolmaster).[2]
He married Helene Pedersdatter Nakken on 26 Jun 1803.[3]
Arne's first wife must have died soon after, because he married his second wife, Lisbeth Anthonidatter Sætre, on 2 Jul 1806.[4]
