Richard Collins Harding was born on October 25, 1782[1] in Brunswick, Cumberland, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, son of Samuel Harding (1742–1805) and Joanna Lombard (1751–1827).

Richard married Louisa Unknown. Their children were:

In 1830, Richard (47) was living in Lisbon, Lincoln, Maine. [3]

In 1840, Richard C (57) was living in Minot, Cumberland, Maine. [4]

Richard died on December 22, 1859 in Lisbon, Androscoggin, Maine, United States, aged 77. He was buried in Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Androscoggin County, Maine.[5]
