Mary Hardman (full age), spinster of Birkenhead, daughter of John Hardman, labourer, married Richard Smith (full age), bachelor, shipwright of Birkenhead, son of Samuel Smith, tailor, on 5 December 1858 in Birkenhead, St. Mary, Cheshire, England. The witnesses were William Thompson and Martha Hale.[2]
