Daisy married George Hammond in 1941 in Chatswood, New South Wales. [2] Although George soon after enlisted in the Second Australian Imperial Force and served in New Guinea until late 1945, they separated and subsequently divorced in 1946-47. [3]

Daisy married Arthur Williams, a former Army signalman, in 1948 in Manly, New South Wales. [4]
