Biography

Eric was born in 1905. He was the son of Cecil Harmsworth and Emilie Maffett. He was baptised 6 April 1906 at Bryanston Square St Mary, Westminster, England. [1]

He was a musician and composer.

He married (1) Helene Marie Dehove on 15 June 1935

In 1939 he was a Deputy Assistant Censor for the Ministry Of Information

Helene died in 1962.

He married (2) Helen Gordon Loch, formerly married to Charles Arthur Norman Hudson, on 2 May 1964 at St Jude's Church, Kensington.

Mr Harmsworth, a musician, whose first wife died in 1962, said that the wedding will be at St jude's Church Kensington, on May 2.

Helen was the daughter of Granville George Loch CB, CMG, she married Charles Arthur Norman Hudson in 1929. Since Charles died in South Africa on 12 July 1970, they must have divorced prior to 1964. He passed away in 1988.
