James was born in 1921. He was the son of Jesse Harnetiaux and Goldyn Lawson. He passed away in 2013.
Obituary
TENNESSEE, Ill. --James R. Harnetiaux, 92, of Tennessee, died 9:18 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 10, 2013) at the Montebello Care Center in Hamilton. James was born Jan. 8, 1921, in Beardstown, a son of Jesse V. and Goldy Bernice Lawson Harnetiaux. On Sept. 7, 1946, he married Wanda Wetzel in Carthage. He graduated from Bowen High School in 1938. James worked at the Foehr Motors Chrysler Garage for 40 years and 10 years at Carl Motors as a mechanic, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and deep sea fishing and he and Wanda enjoyed traveling in their motor home and camping. James is survived by his wife, Wanda; two sons, Daniel (Brenda) Harnetiaux and James (Linda) Harnetiaux; two grandchildren, Krista (John) Artman and Nathan (Anna) Harnetiaux; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Kailee, Karli, and Kennedy; and two sisters, Marie Carpenter, and Dorothy Sparrow, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon and Robert Harnetiaux, and a sister, Shirley Coe. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Monday in the Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with burial to follow in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. VISITATION: 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with family present from 6-8 p.m. MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for Hospice, Hancock County Volunteers for Diabetes or the Alzheimer's Association . ARRANGEMENTS: Printy Funeral Home of Carthage
