Biography
Rhoda first shows up in a ship passenger manifest with her mother Emma Rebecca Wakeley, Aunt Thursa and brother James 2nd when immigrating to the United States. By 1865 Rhoda is an orphan child in the house of Thomas Merritt Thompson and his first wife, Lucretia Jane Adkinson inn Easton, Leavenworth County, Kansas, United States.
After Rhoda reached legal age, she left that home going out on her own. Rhoda and Thomas Merritt Thompson married on 25 Sep 1875 in Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas, United States 3 years after Thomas wife Lucretia died in 1872.
Rhoda perished 28 Jul 1939 in Kaw Township, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, United States.
