Biography
John J. Harris was born on 15 April 1838 in Pike County, Alabama.[1]
He married Mary Frances “Pollie” Lovette on 14 Dec. 1865 at Butler County, Alabama.[2][1]
He was a farmer when he and Mary appeared on the census of 22 June 1880 at Braggs, Lowndes County, Alabama. Her mother was living with them.[3]
John died on 6 Feb. 1887 at Lowndes County, Alabama and was buried at New Bethel Cemetery, Braggs, Lowndes County, Alabama. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
