ELIZABETH HART was born 19 Jul 1844 in Indiana to William Hart and his first wife, Hannah Hoglen.
Elizabeth's mother, Hannah (Hoglen) Hart, died by October 1851 when her father remarried.
1851
William Hart married 27 October 1851 in Wayne County, Indiana to (2) Anna Rader. [1]
Elizabeth's father only lived about four more years before his death on 7 Jul 1855 in Otley, Marion County, Iowa, and is buried there in Teter Cemetery, Otley, Marion County, Iowa. [2]
It is not known if William's family was with him in Iowa, as his two Hart sons with his 2nd wife, Anna, were born in Indiana in 1853 and 1854.
If his 2nd wife, Anna (Radar) Hart and children were with him in Iowa, she must have returned to Indiana. Perhaps she and the children remained in Indiana and William was in Iowa by himself at time of death.
Except for Elizabeth, it appears that William and (1) Hannah's orphaned children did not remain with Anna (Rader) Hart, as she soon remarried in Indiana. It appears the children were perhaps dispersed in some manner.
In 1860 her step-daughter, Elizabeth Hart, was residing with Anna and her Clymer husband.
