Biography

Elizabeth was born 29 Dec 1842 in Indiana. her father was William Harvey (PA) and her mother was Sarah Bardell (MD). In 1850 Elizabeth was living with her parents and siblings in Blue River Township, Hancock, Indiana where her father was a farmer. By 1860 the family was living and farming in Adams Township, Mahaska, Iowa. Elizabeth married James Washington Gray on 10/11/1865 in Sonoma county, California. She died 6/2/1875 and is buried with family members in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery (Plot Rural WHC 46).
