Louis was born on the 4th of December 1864 [1][2] at, as of yet, an unknown location in the German Empire. He married Minnie
Riegel on the 5th of June 1890 [3] at Martin County, Minnesota. They were the parents of five children: [4] Fritz, Annie, William, Susan and Adolph. He passed away on the on the 13th of November 1904 [2] at
Van Buren Township in Newton County, Missouri and was buried in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Sarcoxie in Jasper County, Missouri [2] His will was probated in
December in Newton County. [5]
