Thomas Harold Hast was born in 1893 at Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. He was the older of twin sons of Walter Hast and Lilian "Lucy" Ann Bamford.[1]
He served in the Australian Imperial Force during The Great War; enlisted 23rd February 1915; returned to Australia 28th March 1919.[2] He was a member of the 2nd Australian Division Signals Company.[3] His younger brother, Reginald was also a member of the 2nd Division Signals and was killed in action.
He married Eunice Potter in 1920 at Redfern, New South Wales.[4]
He passed away in 1969 at Burwood, New South Wales.[5]
