Biography

Isaac Elmer Hastain was born on 6 Mar 1900 in Lakeport, Lake County, California;^{[1][2][3][4][5]} he was the son of William Haston and Cora Purinton.^[1][4]

On 1 Jun 1900,^[1] Isaac E. Hastain (age 3 months) was living in Lakeport, Judicial Township 4, Lake County, California in the household of his father, William R. Hastain, with his mother and siblings (listed in table below).

On 15 Apr 1910,^[6] Isac [sic] E. Hastain (age 10) was living in Stony Ford Township, Colusa County, California in the household of his father, William R. Hastain, with his mother and siblings (listed in table below).

On 2 Sep 1918 in Colusa County, California,^[2] Isaac Elmer Hastain (age 18) registered for the World War I Draft. Isaac was born on 6 Mar 1900. He was currently residing in Princeton, Colusa County, California, where he was employed as a laborer. His nearest relative was [his father] W. R. Hastain, who lived in Glenn County, California.

Isaac Elmer Hastain, son of William R. Hastain and Cora Ellen Purrenton, died (age 63) on 29 Jun 1963 in Stevenson, Skamania County, Washington (dead on arrival at the Dr. Rehal Clinic).^{[4][14][5][15]} The cause of death was acute cardiac decompensation, which was due to calcified aortic stenosis, which was associated with rheumatic fever. Isaac was born on 6 Mar 1900 in Lakeport, California. His usual occupation had been a mill worker at a saw mill; his usual residence was in rural Skamania, Skamania County, Washington. Isaac was married; his surviving spouse was Isabel Hastain, who lived at the same address and was the informant for the death certificate.

Isaac Elmer Hastain was buried in the Washington Memorial Park, SeaTac, King County, Washington.^[16] His headstone is joint with his 3rd wife (Isobel Hastain), and it is inscribed with his name, Isaac Hastain, and the dates of his birth and death (6 Mar 1900 - 29 Jun 1963). At the bottom of the headstone is the following: "I Am the Resurrection and the Life".

Isaac Hastain was in an obituary on 5 Jul 1963 in Seattle, Washington. He died (age 63) on 29 Jun 1963.^[17]
