Lucy was the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Brown) Hastings
She married first Moses Winship, son of Ephraim and Hannah (Cutler) Winship, on 3 Apr 1746 in Massachusetts - after the death of Moses she married Benjamin Wheeler, son of Timothy and Lydia (Wheeler) Wheeler, on 27 Nov 1753 in Massachusetts. Their children were Lucy, Hailey and Hepzibeth Wheeler
