Thomas HAW was born about 1829 in Stockton-on-Tees, Durham, England. He was christened on 30 August 1829 in St. Thomas, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham, England.[1] His deaath was recorded in the term covering January to March in 1900 in Stockton, Durham, England.[2] He was the son of Richard HAW and his wife, Hannah BURNICLE.
It is unclear whether he ever married as no record has been found for a marriage for Thomas. In the England and Wales census records of 1881 and 1891 he was listed as single. He was listed as married in 1871, but the individual listed as his wife in that census was actually the wife of his brother Richard, Mary Ann (WEBSTER) HAW. Likewise the children in the household in 1871 which were listed as sons and daughters were listed as nieces and nephews in other census records so it probably means they were children of Richard HAW and his wife, Mary Ann WEBSTER.
