Biography
John Wesley Hawkins was born on 6 August 1811 in Tennessee, United States, son of William Henley Hawkins and Susannah Wesley.
He married Sarah Matthews about 1835 and they made their home in Missouri.[1]
In 1840, John was in Gasconade, Missouri.[2]
This person was in a record in 25 October 1845.[3]
In 1850, he was in Benton Township, Osage, Missouri.[4]
In 1860, he was in Crawford Township, Osage, Missouri.[5]
He married Rutha Cutler on 15 May 1861 in Osage, Missouri.[6]
John died on 15 January 1862 and was reportedly buried in Harris Cemetery, Mint Hill, Osage, Missouri.[7]
