Biography
David Alexander Hawthorne was born on 18 Jan 1881 in the downland of Legananny, County Down, Ireland. His parents were Hugh Hawthorne and Sarah Hawthorn (formally Hawthorn.[1]
David Hawthorn married Eliza Ruddock on 22 Jul 1919 in Banbridge, County Down, Ireland. His father was listed as Hugh Hawthorne, farmer and her father was listed as John Ruddock, shoemaker (deceased). Witnesses were Samuel A. Goghehan and Minnie McBride.[2]
