HENRY HAYWARD The death occurred in the Tumut and District Hospital on Sunday evening of another old Batlow identity,in the person of Mr. Henry Hayward of Neilis-st., Batlow, aged 70. Deceased was born at Batlow on 24th December, 1866, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hayward.He married Miss Annie Maude Skein,who survives him. He followed the occupation of a miner in his younger days, but of late years was retired. The surviving sons and daughters are Copeland, Jessie, Leila, Max, Keith and Jessie. Mr. Walter Hayward and Mrs. H. Godfrey, of Tumut, are a brother and sister of deceased, as are Ettie (Mrs. White), Crow's Nest, Ada (Mrs. Harrison), Batlow, Emily (Mrs. Whiting), Sharp's Creek, Elsie (Mrs. Whiting), Cornishtown, and George, of Batlow. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon.
