Biography
Francis Head married Elizabeth Willett on February 8, 1804 by Father Stephen Badin, the first Catholic priest ordained in the United States and the 3rd priest to arrive in Kentucky. Francis is buried at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Holy Cross, Marion County, KY. He is buried next to his son Charles. Francis Head came to Pottinger Creek at Gethesame, KY with his parents and 2 brothers and sister when he was 10 years old from Maryland. They were part of the 1787 Maryand to Kentucky League.
