Biography
Robert Charles Heaven was born in 1859. He was baptised on 06 Feb 1859 at the Garrison Chapel, Chatham Barracks, Chatham, Kent, England, the son of Charles Heaven and Isabella Mealy.[1] His birth certificate states that his mother was "formerly Mealy" and that his father was a "Chelsea Pensioner".[2]
He married Eliza Nichols in Gloucestershire in 1886.[3] The marriage produced two children:
