A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Entombment will be in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Memorials may be made for Masses to Maternity BVM Catholic Church, where he was a member. He died Tuesday (Sept. 18, 2007) at Riverside Medical Center. Mr. Hebert was retired from Roper Corp., Bradley Division, where he was a machinist for 30 years. He was born Jan. 1, 1914, in Lawrenceville, Ind., the son of George A. and Mary Kare Hebert. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Bradley and the Knights of Columbus in Kankakee. He enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are his wife, the former Doreen Benoit, whom he married Jan. 25, 1941, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church; two daughters, Mary Ann Huntsbury of Fairbanks, Alaska, Madonna Kare and Bob Kowalski of Aurora; two granddaughters and three great-granddaughters; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Alberta Bertrand of San Diego, Calif., Marjorie and Bob Guimond of Bourbonnais; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Adrian and Bertha Hebert of Palm Springs, Calif., Rev. John M. Hebert of Hot Springs Village, Ark. Deceased are one brother, Cletus; and one sister, Margaret Ann Stinespring.
