Biography

Susanna was born at Meredith in 1880. [1]

In 1904, in Victoria, she married Samuel James Hammond. [2]

Three children are known. Four are shown in her death notice. [3]

Susan passed away at Fern Tree Gully Upper in 1949, aged 69. [4] (Issue....father named as Thomas).

HAMMOND.—On December 31, at her home, Penrith, Old Belgrave-road, Upper Fern Tree Gully, Susan, the dearly loved wife of Samuel James Hammond, and loving mother of Mary (Mrs. Bickley), Kathleen (Mrs. Wood), Betty (Mrs. Coutts) and Doss (Mrs. Roberts), aged 69 years. Requiescat in pace.

She was buried in Melbourne Cemetery, Carlton North. [5] Samuel joined her in 1950.
