Biography

Alexander Heisen was born in 1823^[1].

He migrated from Germany to New York in 1848^[2]. He filed his intention to become a US citizen in 1850, Bloomfield, Illinois^[1][3].

He then migrated to Washington Territory^[4][5] where he married Mary Elizabeth (Reylea) Bradley^{[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]}.

He served under Captain W H Wallace's Company and Captain Urban E Hicks Company 2, Washington Territory Volunteers during the Indian Wars^[14][6].
