Biography
Louisa was born in 1846. She was the daughter of Daniel Helmer and Louisa Groose.
She emigrated to the United States with her family, arriving in New York aboard S.S. Gutenberg on 9 October 1854.
She is listed in the 1860 census, living with her family in Ixonia, Jefferson, Wisconsin.
She does not appear with her family in the 1870 census, at the same location, when she would have been 19 years old. Presumably she either married or passed away before the census was taken.
