Hendrika (Hendriks) Van Vonderen was born on 13 Jul 1838 in Sambeek, Noord-Brabant, Nederland, daughter of Petrus Hendriks (1797 - <1870) and Hannah Willems (<1805 - <1853).

Her brother was Mathijs (Hendriks) Hendricks (1831 - 1867).

Hendrika (28) married Jan Joseph Hietpas (35) (1831 - ~1874) on 1 Oct 1866 in Little Chute, Wisconsin, USA. Their son was Herman J Hietpas (~1870 - ~1959).
