Biography

Karin was born before 1690. She was married to an otherwise unknown sami man, and owned the land that would become Soppero. After the death of her first husband she married Mats Eriksson who is considered the founder of Soppero. In her death records she is said to have been over 100 years old when she died, but if that were to be true she would have given birth to her son Mats when she was almost 90.
