Biography

OBITUARY: Jesus Herrera, age 71, of Mesilla Park passed away on June 18, 2022. He was born July 25, 1950 in Monte, California to Rosa Banda and Jesus Herrera.

Those left to mourn him include his wife Eva, two sons Oscar Herrera and Jesus Herrera, five daughters Daena Herrera, Sandra Herrera, Elizabeth Garcia, Yesenia Herrera, and Jesusa Herrera, sister Rosy Banuelos. Jesus also leaves twelve grandchildren Jessica Herrera, Judith Herrera, Luis Herrera, Viany Valdez, Matthew Velazquez, Nathan Martinez, Ediel Moncada, Kimberly Castorena, Desiree Castorena, Britney Castorena, Kayla Garcia, and Katelynn Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 23, 2022 at Bacas Funeral Chaapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitations will begin at 02:00 P.M. with the Service to begin at 03:00 P.M. Interment will be Friday June 24, at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels of Las Cruces and Sunset Crematory, 527-2222.
