The Durie family: Jean Durier of the Huguenot colony in Bergen County, New Jersey, and some of his Duree, DuRee, Durie, DuRie, and Duryea descendants, Compiled by Howard I. Durie, Publisher H.I. Durie, 1985, Length 486 pages, "Pierre Durier (b.ca.1630) immigrated from France to Utrecht, Holland, The Netherlands, and married Marguerite Charoy. Jean Durier (1654- 1698), their first child, immigrated shortly before 1686 to Bergen, New Jersey, and married twice. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Durie) and relatives lived in New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Indiana, Arkansas, Arizona, California and elsewhere." Jean Durier and his wife Jeanne Hersulier are found on page 15 an 16 in this book.
