Biography
Alexander Landgraf von Hesse was born on February 25, 1863, and died on May 26, 1945. He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm Prince von Hessen-Kassel and Anna Princess von Preußen.
Borm with a visual impairment, he was the head of the electoral line from 1888 to 1925, when he abdicated in favor of his brother.
