June Carlene Myers, 77, of 18539 Kent Avenue, Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the Meritus Medical Center.

Born Tuesday, June 5, 1934 in Sharpsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Luther Hetzel and the late Mary Eva (Drenner) Hetzel. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles F. Thomas in 1972.

She graduated from Boonsboro High School. She was employed with Har Tru Corporation and Sam's Club, retiring in 1998.

She is survived by her husband Joseph N. Myers, daughters, Kathy Sue Renner of Hagerstown, MD, and Jody Farrow of Clear Spring, MD, sons, Brock Lynn Myers of Hagerstown, MD, Brian Myers of Hagerstown, MD, and Joseph Myers, Jr. of Berkeley Springs, WV, sisters, Ruth Statler of Chambersburg, PA, Alice Gardner of Sharpsburg, MD, and Mae Kauffman of Boonsboro, MD, grandchildren, Tanya DeHaven, Charles Renner, Brady and Carlee Myers, Paige and Nicholas Farrow, great-grandchildren, Cole, Tyler and Zach DeHaven, Kayla, Connor and Amber Renner.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Miller, and brothers, Albert Hetzel, John L. Hetzel Jr.,and Carl Hetzel.

Services will be held Friday, February 10, 2012, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Jeff Summers officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 09, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Interment will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
