- Grietje Heun, 21 years old, married Eppe Hekema, a 20 year old boerenknecht (farmhand), in Bierum, Groningen on December 27, 1867. He was born in Holwierde, Groningen and is the son of Klaas Hekema (1818 Holwierde-1908 Holwierde) and Geessien Harmannus Huls (1818 Groningen-1850 Bierum). [2]
