Beulah was born in 1902 in Mecosta, Michigan. She was the daughter of Joseph James Higginson and Anna Estella Price.

Beulah (age 18), daughter of Joe Higginson & Anna Price, married Walter L Burden on 18 November 1920 in Big Rapids, Mecosta, Michigan, United States.^[2] Beulah and Walter had the following children:
