John (26) married Sarah Beecroft (21) (born in 1762) on 2 September 1784 in Easton, Suffolk. Their known children were:
- Jesse Hill (7 November 1784 – 24 August 1870)
- Maria Hill (7 January 1787 – unknown)
- James Hill (26 February 1790 – 15 April 1867)
- Sarah Hill (7 March 1793 – 1816)
John died on 26 November 1834 in Wickham Market, Suffolk, United Kingdom, aged 77.
